CX3-80 Configuration and expansion
The CX3-80 array can take up to 15 fibre channel disks, 5 of which are normally dedicated to EMC code.The CX3-80 can be expanded with up to 32 FC (fibre channel)/ ATA disk array expansion drawers (DAEs). Each has a capacity of 15 disks giving a total capacity of 480 disks.
