IBM Power pSeries 595 server overview
|The Power 595 server is a high-end box capable of running AIX, Linux and IBM i (i5/OS). The Power 595 is based on a 42U rack that contain a 20U CEC cage that can take up to eight processor books. A processor book includes four dual core P6 processors.|
The system is designed to offer mainframe levels of reliability and excellent performance. Up to two powered or unpowered expansion racks provide capacity for additional I/O drawers.
