Based on the POWER6 processor technology used in high-end Escala servers, the new servers offer advanced virtualization features with reduced running costs and energy consumption for distributed systems.Developed in partnership with IBM, the new machines conform to Bull’s eco-friendly Bio Data Center initiative, delivering a fifty percent improvement in the performance/watt ratio on existing models. The new servers are designed to optimize distributed applications and medium-sized databases with an emphasis on remote Enterprise Resource Planning, Customer Relationship Management, and high use databases.
