Zeus traffic management for Sun Fire | | 2008-06-14 | | Santa Clara based application delivery software provider Zeus Technology has chosen Sun Microsystems as the platform for its traffic management software.
Under the agreement with Sun, Zeus will sell selected Sun appliances fully integrated with ZXTM (Zeus Extensible Traffic Manager). The deal includes a Sun OEM Services agreement offering customers a choice of hardware support and maintenance to suit their needs.
The company has announced three appliances:
The ZXTM 3000 LB appliance, based on a Sun Fire X2200 M2 server includes Zeus’ ZXTM Load Balancer software and is aimed at organizations requiring a powerful, high-performance load balancing solution.
The ZXTM 3000 and ZXTM 8000 appliances are based on Sun Fire X2200 M2 and Sun Fire X4100 M2 servers and include Zeus’ ZXTM 5.0 Application Delivery software. These applications offer a wide range of traffic management capabilities to businesses with complex application delivery requirements.
